Although this disease does not spread to humans, it is a contagious viral disease in cattle. The disease spreads during the breeding season of mosquitoes, usually at the end of the rainy season in early autumn or early spring. Cows and calves affected by this disease first get fever and eventually stop eating. Saliva comes out of the mouth and nose with fever, feet swell.
